Dr. Mozzie Parker

Dr. Parker is a native of Biloxi.  She received her DVM (Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine) from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990.  She currently holds licenses to practice in both Alabama and Mississippi.  She is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association, and the South Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association, serving in the office of President in 2003. 

Dr. Parker is the owner of The Pet Clinic, which was established in Woolmarket in September 2001.  She enjoys general small animal practice, and has a strong interest in Internal Medicine.  Tailoring treatments for good health and preventative medicine to the needs of her furry patients and their families is her main objective.  Always wanting the stay technologically advanced, Dr. Parker enjoys exploring new and improved ways of treating animals by attending continuing education seminars whenever possible.


Leigh Ann, Office ManagerLeigh Ann

Leigh Ann, a Biloxi native, has been the office manager at The Pet Clinic since it opened in 2001.  She lives in Ocean Springs with her husband, two sons, two dogs, one cat, and one goldfish. Even though her background is in education, Leigh Ann has enjoyed helping her sister, Dr. Parker, open and build her practice here in Woolmarket.  Playing tennis, encouraging her sons' musical efforts, and baking are her favorite pastimes. 


 

 

Mary, Receptionist

Mary has been a member of The Pet Clinic team for 8 years.  In her spare time Mary enjoys going to car shows, watching professional football and being with her family.  She is the proud owner of 2 Boston Terriers named Max & Millie and 2 felines, Mojo & Mia.  Mary has been living in Ocean Springs with her husband Mike for 9 years.  She looks forward to seeing you at The Pet Clinic.




Betsy, Veterinary Technician

Betsy is married to Alex and has two children, Robbie and Seth, and two step children.  She loves animals and has three cats (Tippie, Cocoa, and Sylvester), and a Blue Heeler named Clover.  She has been working with us since 2006 as our Inventory Manager, a Veterinary Technician, and our Technical Maintenance Manager.  Betsy is a MS Gulf Coast native.  She and her family enjoy fishing, camping, and visiting the barrier islands on their shrimp boat.  Between her children and animals, there is never a dull moment in Betsy's house!

 

 

   



Ethel, Customer Service Manager

Ethel joined The Pet Clinic in September of 2008.   She is married, has one child, and 2 cats named B.B. (a rescue cat) and Goldie (DSH).  The newest member of the household is a German Shepard named Sabrina Fayth.  Ethel also works at Gulf Coast Veterinary Emergency Hospital.


 

Frances, Veterinary Technician

Frances is the proud mommy of a 2 year old named Allen, a highschool graduate named Alicia, a cat named Meow Meow, a Min Pin named Bubba, and a 12 week old kitten named Smudge.  She recently joined The Pet Clinic team, and is now doing what she loves.  Frances loves her family and spends her time hanging out with friends, fishing, cooking and watching hockey.  She has lived in Mississippi all of her life and couldn't imagine living anywhere else.  Come meet Frances today.

 


Chris, Veterinary Technician

Chris is the proud owner of 2 Great Danes named Rexx and Maryjane, a Labrador named Bear, 6 cats named Trixie, Kiko, Nolan, Moo, ZigZag, and Boots.  She's been working as a veterinary technician since 2006, and can't imagine doing anything else for a living. She's been with The Pet Clinic since August of 2009.  Chris is originally from England but has spent most of her life here in Mississippi.  She is very family oriented and loves to travel.
