Our new Fitness Club is designed to help your pet lose weight and to live longer. Our team will coach you on feeding strategies and exercise programs. To become a member, make an appointment with our veterinarian for a thorough examination including blood work. From there we will do monthly weigh-ins and consultations on feeding and exercise.

Body Condition Scores:
1 - Emaciated: Ribs, spine, pelvic bones, and other bones are visible. No discernible body fat. 2 - Thin: Ribs are easily palpated and may be visible with no palpable fat. Spine and pelvic bones are visible. Obious waist and abdominal tuck. 3 - Ideal: Ribs are palpable with no excess fat coverage. Waist is seen behind ribs when viewed from above. Abdominal tuck from side view. 4 - Heavy: Ribs are palpable with difficulty, heavy fat cover. Noticeable fat deposits over lumbar area and base of the tail. Waist is absent or barely visible. Abdominal tuck may be absent. 5 - Grossly Obese: Massive fat deposits over the thorax, spine, and base of the tail. Waist and abdominal tuck are absent. Fat deposits on neck and limbs. Obvious abdominal distention.
