Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.

Surgical Services: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. These range from spay and neuter surgeries to tumor removal, soft tissue surgery, and some orthopedic procedures.

Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures. All pets are thoroughly screened for illness before undergoing anesthesia. Our hospital features a Cardell multi-parameter monitor during all anesthetic procedures. This equipment monitors blood pressure, EKG, carbon dioxide, and oxygen levels during anesthesia. A technician monitors the patient's vital parameters as well as accompanies the pet through recovery.

Radiology Services: Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders.

Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists. Our hospital performs ECGs on all patients prior to anesthesia as a screening test.

Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, cytology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations. We have a LaserCyte CBC analyzer in addition to IDEXX serum chemistry and electrolyte machines to maximize the speed in which results are received, and therefore speed treatment.

Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of veterinary pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pets.

Dentistry: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions, and oral surgery. We use OraVet dental sealant to ensure your pets' beautiful smile lasts long after cleaning. Individualized Flea Control Programs: We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Dietary Counseling: We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance. We feed and recommend Science Diet products.

Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression. We also offer a 6 week Puppy Class with Patty Carmel to our clients and patients.

Boarding: We provide premium pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention and daily hygiene from our caring staff. Pets may be admitted and discharged during regular business hours Monday through Friday, and the first and third Saturdays of the month. For more information, see The Pet Lodge page.

Bathing: Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available. We offer routine nail trimming at no charge to our clients and perform expression of anal glands and dremel toenails as needed.
